Tom Morton returns to support Shetland Webcams

This Saturday 31st March 2018 we welcome the return of The Beatcroft Social “visual radio” programme. Tom will support our 6 week “RedEye” campaign to tell the Shetland Webcam story and hopefully encourage support from our many avid viewers across the world.

So many of you have helped keep these live feeds from the UK’s most northerly island community online despite a number of challenges faced as public funding becomes increasingly stretched. If it was not for this level of support then this site as it is today would simply not exist.

So, let’s look to the future with some optimism together and see where the journey takes us. What can be absolutely guaranteed is a weekly 2-hour interruption to your webcam watching to enjoy some excellent music, banter and interaction.

I will post here over the period with information about my aspirations for the network and hopefully make it easier for me to communicate more effectively with the people that make it all worthwhile - that’s you!

Tune in this coming Saturday evening 7-9pm Shetland Time (1800-2000GMT) to find out more.
