Sørlandet's visit to Shetland

Another Tall Ship arrives in Lerwick to join the Gunilla at Victoria Pier

Built in Kristiansand and launched in 1927, the Sørlandet is one of the world’s oldest operating full-rigged tall ships. We caught first sight of her arrival on Fjara Cam on the 31st August and then anchored for a few days before berthing initially out at Holmsgarth and then finally at Victoria Pier where she joined the Gunilla. She departed on the 10th September and I have provided a number of clips across our camera network to show some of her activities during the time in Shetland. Such a wonderful sight and one that never ever tires.
And from her departure from Victoria Pier on the 10th September 2026.
